Origination was established as a Nonprofit organisation in 2018, working towards the cause of inculcating skills in individuals that support their overall wellness.

Facilitate holistic development programs at various stages of human life and its associated life events for the socio-emotional well being of an individual.
To nurture one’s own positive mental health and overall wellness, by instilling a self-help support system that will enhance intellectual, emotional, physical, psychological, and social well-being.
Need of the project
Women today are facing an economy that is increasingly becoming less labour-intensive and driven more by capital, technology, knowledge, and skill. Due to the discrimination for ages in our society, women lack awareness of their surroundings and find it difficult to portray their true potential, thus developing a feeling of powerlessness.
Women face complex ground realities including low levels of literacy; discriminatory social customs and practices; limited hours available for training and work, limited exposure, and unfamiliarity with new technology.
In addition, women are more likely to be underemployed, underpaid, or work under temporary contracts. There is often a mismatch between the skills the workers can offer and the skills demanded by employers. Even the government efforts for the skill development of women have not reached a satisfactory level due to many confronting issues and inhibitions.
In many cases, skilling does not convert into actual employment in terms of getting a job due to a lack of industry/market linkages and other support.
About Project Vee
Our skill development training systems have adapted to the pandemic, participated in the recovery, and have developed strategies to continue filling the relevant skill and income generation in villages.
Project Vee with a vision to bridge the Rural-Urban gap in accessing farm fresh natural and shelf-life added products. This will support farmers and rural women with fair income generation methods. In rural India, the amount paid by the consumers never reach the farmers who cultivate them and on the other hand, the urban citizens pay more for less either in terms of quality or quantity or sometime both when it comes to agro products. To address this, we bring village agro products to urban kitchens through the empowerment of rural women. We will be an alternative distribution channel for agro outputs and an efficient supply chain for agro inputs.
The impact is based on a three-dimensional plan
- Farmers to yield better return and earn their fair income from agro products they produce
- Rural women to get trained on value added agro products and improve their livelihood
- Value added agro products are delivered to urban consumers
Origination’s skill programs are highly market-driven & market-linked ensuring that our skilling becomes a medium to earn livelihood and improve their standard of living. It also incorporates women-related issues such as issues of a safe training environment, entrepreneurship of women, affordable cost, etc. Our skill development programs also ensure that skilling is converted into actual livelihood opportunities by industry partnership, market linkages, and post-placement support.
Farmers will have improved lifestyle by rewarding them directly, making it a promising occupation, and urban people can have access to fresh agro products at affordable pricing at their doorstep.
Urban people who have the desire for village fresh agro products at affordable prices will receive the products directly from the farmers at their doorstep.
20 women per village will be identified for livlihood training.
Based on their available agro resources, training on Food processing, Oil extraction, Ghee making, Soap making will be organised.
Women will undergo 3 months on the production, packaging, procurring resources and marketing along with Lifeskills sessions.
Women are encouraged to form as Self-help group and avail small loans to start producing the products.
Initial marketing support on displaying the products in organisation’s social media pages, displaying the products in stalls in events and corporate offices will be supported by the organisation to bring sustainability.
